Kielder Charity Walk

The date of our charity walk has been changed to Sunday 28th January. We are hoping that by giving further notice more people can join us.

If you are interested, the walk is a 6 mile (leisurely) route around Kielder's Bull Crag Peninsula.

We plan to start the walk at 1 pm, meeting at Leaplish Waterside Park at 12.30 pm.

This walk is moderately flat but good sturdy walking shoes and waterproofs are recommended.

We are asking for a donation of £5 per person or £10 per family, this will go to our charity, 'Brain Tumour Research' taking us closer to our target of £10k raised in 1 calendar year (ends in March 2018).

The walk is suitable for children, dogs are also welcome. However, SSFitness can not be responsible for their safety or behaviour.

There is a cafe and a shop at Leaplish to purchase refreshments but it is recommended you carry sufficient water/snacks.

There will be a qualified 1st aider with us at all times.

The walk will start & finish at Leapish Waterside Park (next to the bird of prey center) and is a circular walk around Bull Crag Peninsula. (taking approx 2 1/2 hours).

This is our second family walk in aid of Brain Tumour Research, the first was a huge success and we raised over £600. Please help us as we enter our last 2 months fund raising towards our target of £10k by March 2018.
