Pilates
Pilates is one of my favourite forms of exercise and I have practised for over 30 years.
Initially training with Michael King at the Pilates Institute, I have since gained experience and further qualifications fuelling my passion for this wonderful form of exercise.
Unlike some types of exercise, Pilates does not over-develop some parts of the body and neglect others. It focuses on building core strength and trains the body as an integrated whole. Pilates promotes strength and balanced muscle development as-well as flexibility and increased range of joint movement.
Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, I believe it is the perfect compliment to all forms of exercise and sporting activity.
All classes and training are endorsed by local Physiotherapists and back care specialists, many of whom regularly attend my classes.
1 to 1 sessions, postural analysis and Reformer training is available. Referral training including pre & post-natal, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
